The Institute of Health and Care Sciences has been involved in a Linnaeus Palme exchange programme with Al Qamar College of Nursing in Gulbarga, Karnataka, India. Initial support was provided by the International Programme Office for Education and Training (Internationella Programkontoret) in May 2008, for the period 1 July 2008 – 30 June 2009.
The project  received continued funding for the period 2013-14 with SEK 62 332. More information about the South Asia related Linnaeus Palme projects for 2013-14.

The Institute of Health Sciences also received funding for another Linnaeus Palme exchange programme to be established during the period 2009-10 with Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. More information about the South Asia related Linnaeus Palme projects for 2009-10.

Finally, the Institute of Health and Care Sciences is now also involved in a Linnaeus Palme exchange programme with Tribhuvan University in Nepal since 2013.
