Research conneected to South Asia:

Associate Professor Bengt Danielsson, now retired, used to work on projects dealing with biosensors and bioanalysis. He has been involved in research collaboration with Dr. Sunil Bhand, at the Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) in Pilani, India. They initiated a research project entitled ”Validation of field-portable and high throughput biosensor techniques for environmental pesticide analysis”. In November 2002, this project was awarded a Swedish Research Links (Asian–Swedish research partnership programme) grant for the period 2003–05 by Sida and the Swedish Research Council. See the full list of South Asia related projects that were given grants.
